For students to succeed, calculators are required for math and science in grades 7-12.
I've included the type of calculator required for each grade or course. For high school, the calculators are suitable for all three years, including university, college and workforce:
Grade 7, 8 and 9 - Students need a scientific calculator ($15-$20)
Math 10-3, 20-3, 30-3 - Students need a scientific calculator ($15-$20)
Math 10C, 20-2, 30-2, 20-1 and 30-1 - one of the following is required: TI-83, TI-84, TI 84-Plus ($160-$195)
Math (10C, 20-1, 30-1) – 50 sheets of graph paper
Sr. High Art – 5 pencil drawing sets (2b, 4b, 6b, 8b and hb), 2 ultra-fine tip black Sharpies, 1 fine tip black Sharpie, small pencil case, and 1 black coiled sketchbook (Dollar store)
