PLRS Music Program
This program will be for grades 7-12 and will take place TUESDAYS at lunch and Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:30. We will be learning basic music skills such as rhythm reading, note reading, instrument techniques and ensemble playing as well as soloing. My name is Roberta Koelmans-Cameron and I have over 17 years of experience teaching music in school, conducting bands and choirs. My main instruments are flute and voice but I also play tuba and piano. I am currently conducting a local community choir the Lakeshore Singers and also play and sing in 2 different duos at the farmer's market and other venues. In addition to myself, there will be a music team of 3 other musicians who will teach drum kit skills, guitar and piano. Together we are excited to offer instruction for 12 lessons from Sept 14-Dec 14 (following the school schedule with one or two minor changes). There is a small cost of $15 per class, and the number of after-school classes is 12. The total cost is $180 to be paid before Sept 29th. Cash or e-transfer to singingberta@gmail.com. Thank you! Please have your child's registration submitted by Sept 11th.
